A professional cleaner wiping down a sofa in a bright living room

Standard Cleaning

Routine upkeep that keeps an already-maintained home consistently fresh between visits.

Best for: Homes that are generally maintained and need regular, repeatable attention — as a one-time visit or on a recurring schedule.

What’s typically included

  • Dusting of reachable surfaces and fixtures
  • Wiping counters and exterior surfaces
  • Vacuuming carpets and rugs
  • Sweeping and mopping hard floors
  • Cleaning sinks and faucets
  • Cleaning toilets, tubs, and showers
  • Wiping the exteriors of kitchen appliances
  • Cleaning mirrors and glass surfaces
  • Emptying ordinary household trash
  • Tidying and straightening commonly used spaces

Optional add-ons

Inside the oven or refrigerator · Interior windows · Interior of emptied cabinets · Finished basement · Pet-hair treatment, laundry, or bed-linen changes

Good to know: Standard cleaning is maintenance, not restoration. A home with heavy build-up, or one that hasn't been cleaned in a while, is usually a better fit for a Deep Cleaning first. Interior appliances, cabinets, and windows are treated as add-ons. The exact task list is confirmed with you during booking.

Gloved hands deep cleaning a marble bathroom sink

Deep Cleaning

A detailed, top-to-bottom reset that reaches the build-up routine cleaning tends to miss.

Best for: First-time professional cleanings, seasonal resets, and homes that haven't been cleaned in a while.

What’s typically included

  • Everything in a Standard Cleaning
  • Baseboards, door frames, and trim
  • Detailed bathroom build-up around tubs, tile, and grout lines
  • Kitchen grease and residue on reachable surfaces
  • Cabinet fronts and handles
  • Reachable light fixtures and vent covers
  • Detailed dusting, including corners and edges
  • Cleaning behind lightweight, easily moved items where safe to do so
  • Extra attention to high-touch surfaces

Optional add-ons

Inside the oven, refrigerator, or emptied cabinets · Interior windows · Wall spot cleaning · Finished basement · Organization assistance

Good to know: Deep cleaning is thorough surface cleaning — not restoration. Heavy staining, mold remediation, biohazards, pest waste, and construction debris fall outside a standard visit and need separate review; some conditions may not be serviceable, and we don't promise stain removal. Your final scope is confirmed before the visit.

A cleaner vacuuming a mattress in a room with moving boxes

Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning

Detailed cleaning for an empty or nearly empty home, timed around a move.

Best for: Tenants, homeowners, landlords, and property managers preparing a space for move-in or turnover.

What’s typically included

  • Floor cleaning throughout the emptied rooms
  • Interior of cabinets and drawers (when selected)
  • Detailed kitchen and bathroom cleaning
  • Exterior cleaning of appliances
  • Baseboards, trim, and door frames
  • Closets and shelving
  • Doors, handles, and switch plates
  • Removal of ordinary surface dust throughout
  • A walkthrough-ready final presentation

Optional add-ons

Interior of the refrigerator or oven · Interior windows · Wall spot cleaning

Good to know: The property should be empty, or nearly empty, with running water and utilities available. Trash removal, furniture, abandoned belongings, repairs, hauling, and construction debris aren't ordinary cleaning tasks unless arranged separately. StenClear can't guarantee the return of a security deposit. Final scope is confirmed during booking.

A cleaner wiping a kitchen counter between guest stays

Rental Turnover

Guest-ready resets between stays for short-term and rental properties.

Best for: Short-term rental hosts and property managers who need a consistent, repeatable turnover between guests.

What’s typically included

  • Refreshing kitchen, bathrooms, and living areas
  • Surface dusting and wiping throughout
  • Vacuuming and mopping floors
  • Cleaning sinks, toilets, tubs, and showers
  • Wiping appliance exteriors and high-touch surfaces
  • Emptying trash and tidying shared spaces
  • A staged, guest-ready presentation

Optional add-ons

Bed-linen changes and laundry · Interior windows · Inside the oven or refrigerator · Organization assistance

Good to know: Turnovers work best on a repeatable checklist agreed with you up front. Restocking guest consumables (toiletries, coffee, and similar) is only included when arranged in advance. We confirm the per-turnover scope with you before service.

A cleaner polishing the floor of a modern office

Commercial Cleaning

Custom cleaning plans for offices, storefronts, and qualifying business spaces.

Best for: Offices, professional suites, retail spaces, and shared workspaces that need a plan built around their hours and traffic.

What’s typically included

  • Reception and common areas
  • Work surfaces where access is authorized
  • Break rooms and kitchenettes
  • Restrooms
  • Hard floors and carpeted areas
  • Trash and recycling handling
  • High-touch surfaces and entryways
  • A site-specific task list built for your space
  • Recurring service options

Optional add-ons

Adjusted frequency and after-hours scheduling · Areas added or removed to match your task list

Good to know: Commercial scope is customized after reviewing your property — frequency, building access, square footage, and the task list all affect the quote. StenClear doesn't service medical, industrial, hazardous, or specialized regulated environments unless confirmed in advance. Send a request and we'll scope it with you.

A cleaner removing dust and debris after construction

Post-Construction Cleaning

Dust and debris removal after a build or renovation, quoted to the job.

Best for: Homeowners, contractors, and builders who need a space cleared of fine construction dust once the work is finished.

What’s typically included

  • Removing settled construction dust from reachable surfaces
  • Wiping fixtures, trim, and hardware
  • Cleaning interior glass and sills where accessible
  • Detailing kitchens and bathrooms after the work is done
  • Vacuuming and mopping floors
  • A final dust pass on high-touch surfaces

Optional add-ons

Interior windows · Additional detail passes as the site requires

Good to know: Post-construction work varies widely, so it's quoted per project after review. Active construction areas, debris hauling, paint or adhesive removal, and unsafe conditions fall outside a standard cleaning and need separate arrangement. The site should be free of ongoing work before the visit, and we confirm scope with you before starting.

How your estimate works

The estimate follows the service you pick — it’s a starting point, not a commitment. Nothing is charged to see it.

Pick the cleaning that fits your space — standard, deep, move-in/out, turnover, commercial, or post-construction.

  2. Describe your property

Share size, bedrooms and bathrooms, and any add-ons so the scope reflects your home or space.

Frequently asked questions

Details on scope, customization, preparation, and how quoting works.

Which service is right for my home?

Standard cleaning keeps an already-maintained home fresh on a one-time or recurring basis. Deep cleaning is the better first step when there's visible build-up or it hasn't been professionally cleaned in a while. Move-in/out is for empty homes during a move, rental turnover is a repeatable between-guest reset, and commercial covers offices and workspaces. If you're unsure, start an estimate and we'll help you match it.

Can services be customized?

Yes. Most residential services accept add-ons such as inside the oven or refrigerator, interior windows, inside emptied cabinets, wall spot cleaning, laundry, bed-linen changes, and organization help. Commercial and post-construction jobs are built around a task list agreed with you. The final list is confirmed during booking.

Are cleaning supplies and equipment provided?

Supply and equipment details are confirmed when you book, since they can vary with the property and any specialty requests. If you'd like particular products used, or you have surfaces that need a specific approach, note it on your request and we'll confirm the plan with you before the visit.

What should I do before the appointment?

A quick pick-up of clutter, clearing counters, and securing valuables lets the team focus on cleaning. For move-in/out cleanings the home should be empty with running water and utilities on. If you've added interior appliance or cabinet cleaning, emptying those first lets us clean them thoroughly. Let us know about pets, parking, or access details in advance.

Does someone need to be home?

Not necessarily — many clients arrange access instead of being present. Entry and access details are confirmed when you book, so share how the team should get in and note any alarms, pets, or parking so the visit goes smoothly.

How are commercial jobs quoted?

Commercial and post-construction work varies too much for a fixed calculator, so they're quoted individually after we review the space. Frequency, building access, square footage, and the task list all affect the quote. Send a request with those details and we'll scope it with you.

Are interior appliances included?

Interior cleaning of the oven, refrigerator, and emptied cabinets is treated as an add-on rather than part of a standard visit, and you can select it during the estimate. For move-in/out cleanings, interior appliance cleaning is commonly added when the units are empty.

What is not included in a regular cleaning?

Standard cleaning is maintenance, not restoration. It doesn't include heavy build-up removal, stain or mold remediation, biohazards, pest waste, construction debris, hauling, or work in unsafe or hard-to-reach areas. Some of those call for a deep clean or a separate review, and a few conditions may not be serviceable. We don't promise stain removal.

Can I request recurring service?

Yes. Residential services offer weekly, every-two-week, and every-four-week schedules, with a recurring discount shown in the calculator. You choose the rhythm that fits and can adjust it as your needs change.

How is the final scope confirmed?

You choose a service and describe your space, then see an instant estimate for residential services or request a custom quote for commercial and post-construction. Before any cleaning happens, the scope — including add-ons and any special notes — is reviewed and confirmed with you. Amounts shown in the calculator are demonstration figures until final pricing is confirmed.
